Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand

Date of Visit – 8 April 2023

Journal Entry – 12 August 2023

Jim Corbett is a 1,318 square kilometres wildlife reserve located in Uttarakhand. The drive from Delhi To Corbett was approximately 6 hours. Corbett is a good place to see wildlife in India. Our Favourite gate has been Durgadevi its more of a dense forest and in a hilly area which made it better to find birds. Our highlight of the trip was seeing two Crested Kingfishers We Spotted a tiger at the gate called Dhela. At the beginning of our safari at Dhela we saw a Great Hornbill female in its nest. This was the first time we saw a Great Hornbill. We had tried to find one in Goa but didn’t.
